As we know, data recovery can be category in to 3 levels
Level 1 Logical Data Recovery.

This level handles with hardware component issues which can’t be repaired but the only solution is to have the components exchanged using donor parts. A lot of data recovery companies focus on Level 1 and Level 2 data recovery, but not Level 3. Why do not they want to dig gold form Level 3?
The answer is very simple, they consider that Level 3 hardware or mechanical data recovery is too hard to deal with. Actually, it was a challenge problem for all the DR experts in a few years before. Except we have to invest hundreds of thousands money into this field for establishing a class 100 clean room, technique problems can not be overcome.
For Head stack problems: how to dismount the head stack and then reinstall properly without damaging the sensitive heads is the key.
Spindle motor problems: only a few top professionals with plenty of practical experience can handle spindle motor problems Platter alignment & spacer problems: so far they are still a headache for most of us without proper tools
