To protect customer’s data and other network assets, DriveSavers employs one of the most sophisticated network security systems available today. The Cisco(R) Self-Defending Network. At the heart of the system is a Cisco ASA (Adaptive Security Appliance) with Intrusion Prevention System, Cisco Security Agent, Cisco (Network Admission Control), Cisco MARS (Monitoring Analysis & Response System) and a 24-hour monitoring service.
The system prevents hacking activity and guards against “day-zero” attacks that strike before antivirus companies have developed new virus signatures to thwart them. This threat is particularly serious for DriveSavers, given that thousands of customer’s hard drives are attached to the network each month.
